This Christmas, Alting is joining the CORDONES DORADOS (gold shoelaces) charity project to beat childhood leukemia promoted by Fundación Unoentrecienmil with a donation.

This disease currently affects 30% of all childhood cancer patients, with more than 300 cases diagnosed in Spain each year. Unfortunately, two in ten cases still have no hope, as there haven’t been any clinical advances in years. This type of advance comes only through research.

So, at Alting, we have chosen to join in the Fundación Unoentrecienmil project “El presente es un regalo” (The present is a gift) to promote different research programs each year to put an end to this disease and so doctors can one day say, “Don’t worry, it’s just leukemia.”

The more of us who join in, the closer we’ll be to curing this disease.
