At its general shareholders’ meeting in February 2014, Alting presented positive results for 2013 in terms of growth and the consolidation of the group’s strategy to diversify real estate assets, which it has been implementing in recent years.
- Alting Assets: Consolidating the Alting brand in the tourism sector, with special focus on hotels. Rounds out 2013 with 5 buildings belonging to the Group leased out for use as hotels: Aragón 271, Calabria 90-92, Paseo de Gracia 29-31, Aragón 130 and Mallorca 362.
- Alting Developments: 2013 was a splendid year for the Developments division, having been awarded two hotel projects: one to adapt and transform the building at Aragón 271 and the other to manage construction at Calabria 90-92.
In terms of new constructions, external demand and improved macroeconomic figures were decisive in the positive results of this division. With 33% of operations in the residential sector, work that had begun in early 2013 finished in the last quarter of the year: Aribau 282 and Girona 108, with all the units in this development sold.
