The Alting Real Estate Group will construct and lease the second urban hotel in Barcelona for the AXEL HOTEL chain. The plot owned by Alting is right in the centre of Barcelona on the 90-92 Calabria Street, next to the Gran Vía de les Corts Catalanes Street, near the Espanya Square and the Fairgrounds of Barcelona.The construction work of the new urban 4-star superior hotel will signify an added investment for Alting of five million Euros. Leased to Axel Hotels, it will fuse modern and functional architecture with the preservation of typical architectonic elements of the Eixample of Barcelona.

The delivery is envisaged to be made in the second half of 2014 and with this hotel, Alting will have in Barcelona five buildings for its hotel operation with a clear strategy of diversification and contribution of real estate value.
