Sushiko, the first Italian chain of all you can eat Japanese restaurants in Barcelona, will open a new restaurant in the Torre Barcelona building owned by Alting Real Estate Group.
The premises are located next to the former El Corte Inglés building in Plaça Francesc Macià. The area is undergoing a transformation process that will generate a new pedestrian area between Avinguda Diagonal and Comte Urgell, forming a new commercial area with office space and commercial premises for retail and restaurants.
Sushiko's adventure began in 2009, with the opening of the first restaurant in the Italian city of Reggio Emilia, in the Emilia Romagna region, and was inspired by the idea of combining the free buffet formula with oriental cuisine.
In their restaurants, they offer a combination of free sushi buffet concept with oriental cuisine at competitive prices with more than 120 traditional and creative sushi dishes.
Sushiko has become the largest chain of Japanese restaurants in Italy, and now, lands in Spain with an expansion project, opening restaurants in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Oviedo.
Alting Real Estate Group and the real estate consulting firm aRetail have jointly brokered a lease deal.
