Following the de-escalation plan announced by the government, Alting has begun to conduct in-person tours of properties by appointment only, dovetailing with the onset of Phase 0.5 in the city of Barcelona.
Over these past few weeks, we’ve been working on our reopening, and our sales team will attend to our clients while following the healthcare measures established by using Personal Protective Equipment according to the official recommendations of the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Our priority is to guarantee the safety of our clients and our team.
What conditions must be met in order to tour a property in person?
- The property has to be free of occupants during the tour. If the owner lives in the property, they will have to leave it in order for the tour to be conducted.
- Any safety measures established by the official bodies must be taken.
How will in-person tours be conducted?
- The tours are by appointment only and will be spaced out to avoid people concentrating together in the same place.
- The number of people per tour will be limited depending on the size of the property in order to respect the minimum distance of 2 meters between people.
- The protective equipment required by both clients and sales consultants on the tour will be as follows:
- Wearing masks and disposable gloves will be mandatory.
- Hands must be disinfected with hand sanitizer.
- Wearing disposable booties is recommended.
- Physical contact (including with greetings) should be avoided, and the minimum safety distance must always be maintained.
- Touching surfaces or furniture must be avoided as much as possible.
- Communal areas may not be toured, and lifts will be avoided whenever possible.
If the client has any symptoms, they should notify us and the tour will be postponed.
The resumption of sales tours is the first step in the transition to the new normal in the real estate sector.
