RA5 is a listed building of great historical value, fully protected, and will be transformed into a landmark for luxury hospitality. The rehabilitation and transformation project of Ruiz de Alarcón 5, which involves changing the use of the building from offices to a hotel, is led by Alting’s Developments department, Luis Galiano’s architecture firm, RCCyP Arquitectura, and the renowned interior designer Andreu Carulla.

In 2016, Alting transformed it into a 4-star superior hotel with 81 rooms, on lease to the Room Mate hotel chain.
