This year, Alting is collaborating with the Theodora Foundation and its Giggle Doctors through a charity contribution.

The Giggle Doctors from the Theodora Foundation are professional artists with years of experience, with superior artistic and mental health training, who are accustomed to working in the area of children and adolescents.

Their mission is to change the atmosphere in hospitals making the stay more pleasant and dedramatizing the situation, in addition to creating spaces of hope and smiles, contributing in this way to a faster recovery of the hospitalized child.

Do you imagine what it means for a child to be hospitalized?

Every day the Giggle Doctors from the Theodora Foundation fill the rooms of the hospitalized children and adolescents with hope.

Personalized and individualized visits, room by room, and child by child. The Giggle Doctors help to create spaces of hope, contributing to release tensions of the hospitalized children, as well as their family members and the healthcare personnel.

The Giggle Doctors also accompany the children and their family members throughout the phases of a surgical intervention. And through the Hospital programme, they make it possible for a child with intellectual disability to respond very differently to the stimulations, to do this the Giggle Doctors act favoring the child’s sensorial and physical response.

In addition, at Alting, together with the charity project, has given to the team a funny nose from the Giggle Doctors. What are you waiting for to have your own?
