The Alting Group and the prestigious Mercer Hoteles chain have reached their agreement to transform the Ruiz de Alarcón 5 building in Madrid Madrid into an exclusive 5-star Gran Luxe hotel.
The change of use of the property, from office building to luxury hotel, is part of Alting’s strategy to diversify its portfolio in prime locations, optimize the profitability of its assets, and strengthen its commitment to repositioning Madrid as a global luxury tourist destination.
This project is led by Alting’s Developments Department in collaboration with the architecture studio of Luis Galiano, RCCyP Arquitectura, and renowned interior designer Andreu Carulla.
Mercer Hotel Madrid will open its doors in the fall of 2025, offering 61 exclusive rooms and suites with privileged views, haute cuisine, a rooftop with a pool, and a unique experience in the heart of the capital.
