The future of eco-friendly construction? Windows made of transparent solar panels.
In the construction and development sector we have been working for some time now to strike a balance between moving forward and respecting the environment. Minimizing the impact of our activities to help construct more eco-friendly buildings and cities.

An important step in this balance seems to be going through transparent solar panels, a great technological advance developed by Jordi Martorell (Institut de Ciències Fotòniques (ICFO) and Pablo Romero Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), a photovoltaic cell that allows the light and would allow the creation of glass facades that generate electricity.

Photovoltaic cells developed by researchers are organic in nature and are more flexible and flexible than composts per silicon, the material usually used for the composition of solar panels. The results of the project suppose an advanced country because the buildings puguin to generate energy for self-sufficiency in a sustainable and economic way.
