WORK COMPLETED ON FOYER OF TORRE BARCELONA BUILDING AT 477 DIAGONAL AVENUE
Barcelona, November 6, 2024 – The foyer of the Torre Barcelona building, at 477 Diagonal Avenue, has been successfully renovated. Designed by renowned interior designer Marcelo Levit of Marcelo Levit Vision & Design, the project has transformed the space, giving it a new look and functionality for its occupants and the building itself.
Torre Barcelona is a corporate building with 22 floors on Diagonal Avenue just off Francesc Macià Circle. It was built between 1968 and 1970 by architect Emili Bordoy. It was completely refurbished in 2002 and now in 2024 has been renovated to position the building as a benchmark in Barcelona’s CBD office market.
The project, which was carried out in collaboration with the Alting Group Develompments Department, aimed to update and refresh the foyer of the building after it was renovated and four new elevators were installed earlier in 2024.
The improvements are not just about look and functionality, they also sought to make the spaces more efficient and sustainable, in line with the latest trends in corporate spaces:
- Exclusive reception desk in Krion, by Porcelanosa.
- Digital directory screens to better inform visitors and employees.
- Kone elevators.
- Dekton tile flooring from Cosentino.
- Updated security systems with new Dormakaba access systems.
- Package lockers for convenient delivery.
- Parking for electric bikes and scooters, encouraging sustainable mobility.
The work was done by Construccions ROIG.
Updated spaces, adapted to today’s needs
Now that the work is finished, Torre Barcelona has a whole new look, thanks to Marcelo Levit’s unique combination of elegance, functionality and modernity. The new spaces are brighter, more open and welcoming, creating the perfect place for corporate work. This renovation adapts perfectly to the demands of companies today, which are looking for efficient, flexible environments. Marcelo Levit also created the new corporate branding for Torre Barcelona.
