The property, located at Carrera de San Jerónimo 19, connects the Congress with Neptuno Square, in a location where 19th-century classical architecture meets urban modernity. The acquisition of the building from a fund affiliated with Marathon Asset Management strengthens Alting’s expansion strategy in Madrid, adding this asset as the group’s fourth property in the capital. Built in 2007, the building was once the headquarters of Caja Castilla-La Mancha and later of Liberbank (now integrated into Unicaja). It offers 2,600 m² of space distributed over a basement, ground floor, and six upper floors, plus an exceptional rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the city.
The action plan managed by Alting’s Promotion Department includes the comprehensive renovation of the property, changing its use from offices to tourist apartments, including the restoration of both facades and common areas.
The design project will be led by RCCyP Arquitectura, directed by Luis Galiano, an expert in interventions in unique buildings with high architectural value.
