Passeig de Gràcia, Barcelona’s luxury boulevard

Fuelled by foreign tourism, in 2014 Barcelona’s Passeig de Gràcia saw 15 new brands and even higher prices per square meter.

International brands are seeking to establish their presence on the most popular shopping street in the Catalan capital, leading to the incorporation of 15 new brands opening up shops on this luxury boulevard for the first time. These include the first MANGO Man flagship store in the Alting building at 29 Passeig de Gràcia.

This war between fashion brands to dominate Spain’s most popular shopping streets led to 19 new tenants on Passeig de Gràcia in 2014 and higher rental prices.

On the upper section, closest to Diagonal, new rental agreements were signed by Dior, Versace, Rabat, Frey Wille, Carmina Shoemanker, Tous, La Perla and Wolford. On the mid section, Orogold, Maje, Aristocrezy, Mango Men, Twin-Set and Oysho. And below Gran Vía, Double Agent and Adidas.
