ALTING CELEBRATED ST. JORDI FEAST BY GIVING OUT VIRTUAL ROSES FROM SANT JOAN DE DÉU
This year, Alting celebrated St. Jordi in a very special way: with a virtual rose in collaboration with Sant Joan de Déu.
This past 23 April, we joined the #RosasQueDibujanSonrisas campaign, a charitable project that included the design of different roses drawn by users of Sant Joan de Déu (SJD) centers.
As SJD reported, the #RosasQueDibujanSonrisas project managed to hand out more than 8,000 charitable roses in the guise of bracelets, illustrations, fresh roses, and artisan soaps.
And thanks to all the people who gave roses and other charitable products this past St. Jordi’s Day, SJD will be able to fund programs that improve the emotional wellbeing of the vulnerable groups that attend Sant Joan de Déu centers, including hospitalized children, dependent elderly persons, homeless persons, persons with mental disorders and intellectual disabilities, and migrants.
