The total floor space of the property is 3,100 m\u00b2,<strong>which will all be turned into a 4* Superior hotel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operation is part of Alting\u2019s expansion and portfolio diversification plan focusing on prime locations. With this purchase, the company is consolidating its place in the Madrid real estate sector and reaffirming its commitment to renovating emblematic buildings and turning them into innovative projects that add value to the city\u2019s economic and cultural landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A new future for Gran V\u00eda 3<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The building, which was home to Community of Madrid government offices until 30 June 2024, will become a <strong>luxury hotel<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Alting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alting.com\/en\/developments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Developments<\/a> department <\/strong>has handled the meticulous urban planning process to <strong>transform the building<\/strong> <strong>for use as a hotel<\/strong>, which includes changing its fa\u00e7ades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The architectural project is being led by <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rafaeldelahoz.com\/es\/\"><\/a><strong>Rafael de la Hoz<\/strong> and his architecture<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rafaeldelahoz.com\/es\/\"><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rafaeldelahoz.com\/es\/\">studio<\/a>, one of the most prestigious in Spain and internationally. Their extensive experience with projects that stand out for their innovative design and sustainability will ensure the future hotel meets the very highest standards of <strong>design, sustainability and functionality<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The work<strong> is expected to finish in the first quarter of 2026<\/strong>.
