But all of them, unlike other economic operators like investment funds, apply the same formula: <strong>Company &#8211; Family &#8211; Property<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-773138\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Wires-Evento-2.jpg\" alt=\"Wires-Evento-2\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Alting Real Estate Group:<\/strong> Real estate company with family equity.<br \/>\nTheir core business is real estate investment and their <strong>current investment strategy focuses on a variety of products<\/strong>. The company invests in <strong>residential,<\/strong> tertiary <strong>(offices<\/strong> and <strong>retail<\/strong> spaces) and <strong>hotel<\/strong> properties in the best locations in <strong>Barcelona<\/strong> and <strong>Madrid,<\/strong> in projects that require a transformation, even if it takes a long time, <strong>bringing value to each of its assets<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mabel Capital<\/strong>: Family Office.<br \/>\nTheir investment strategy is based on diversification and the company focuses on <strong>transformation projects<\/strong> that add value within a timeframe of <strong>three to five years<\/strong>, after which they are sold to acquire new properties and start again.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Arcano Wealth Advisors<\/strong>: Multi Family Office<br \/>\nThey work with an extensive group of <strong>national and international families<\/strong> and adapt their <strong>investment strategy<\/strong> to fit each family\u2019s profile, from generating value to one-off opportunistic real estate investments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-773144 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Wires-Evento-3.jpg\" alt=\"Wires-Evento-3\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>Adapting real estate to the new reality<\/h3>\n<p>Based on the premise that property holding companies are facing the same challenges as large investment portfolios, participants debated the current situation of <strong>real estate investment<\/strong> and the <strong>opportunities<\/strong> this area may hold.<\/p>\n<p>All of them agreed that the key points for making sure <strong>real estate investment<\/strong> <strong>is profitable<\/strong> include good <strong>planning and diversification<\/strong> in the middle\/long term, plus a <strong>favorable legal and fiscal framework<\/strong> and f<strong>ocus on clients<\/strong>, <strong>innovation<\/strong> and <strong>adapting<\/strong> assets to meet demand.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-773147 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Wires-Evento-Alting.jpg\" alt=\"Wires-Evento-Alting\" width=\"800\" height=\"532\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Carolina Marcos<\/strong>, believes we are \u201c<em>at a complicated time, but there are opportunities. Investments are safe if they have the three basic drivers: good <strong>quality<\/strong> and <strong>location<\/strong> of assets and the <strong>expertise<\/strong> needed to make sure the initial numbers laid out can be met<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-773156\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Wires-Mabel-Capital.jpg\" alt=\"Wires-Mabel-Capital\" width=\"800\" height=\"532\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Carlos Aguado<\/strong> insists, \u201c<em>It is a good time. There are opportunities and good <strong>real estate experts<\/strong> to lean on<\/em>.\u201d He believes in <strong>real estate investment<\/strong> \u201c<em>the short term does not exist<\/em>\u201d and that it is essential to remember <em>\u201cthe importance of your assets\u2019 <strong>ability to adapt<\/strong><\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-773150\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alting.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Wires-Evento-Arcano.jpg\" alt=\"Wires-Evento-Arcano\" width=\"800\" height=\"532\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Martin de Abbad<\/strong>, agreed that \u201c<em>there will be good short-term opportunities. The <strong>buyer-seller price gap<\/strong> will narrow and there will be good real estate investments<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Crisis with some opportunities<\/h3>\n<p>Assets like <strong>hotels, retail<\/strong> spaces and <strong>offices<\/strong> may be an <strong>investment opportunity<\/strong> as long as they are good <strong>quality<\/strong> and in a <strong>good location.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Retail spaces<\/strong> and <strong>hotels<\/strong> are suffering a lot but when tourism rebounds, they will still be a significant part of our economy and, therefore, in the middle or long term, they can be good assets for rigorous, demanding investment and to grow your portfolio.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s also a good time to <strong>update and reposition assets<\/strong> to fit the requirements of demand and even innovate in new uses based on <strong>new social and demographic trends<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For the <strong>small investor<\/strong>, it\u2019s also time to invest in real estate assets but they have to understand that <strong>they won\u2019t see any return in the short term<\/strong>.
