  • City of Barcelona.<\/li>\n
  • Northern metropolitan region (including Baix Montseny).<\/li>\n
  • Southern metropolitan region (except Alt Pened\u00e8s and Garraf).<\/li>\n
  • Central Catalonia.<\/li>\n
  • Lleida.<\/li>\n
  • Girona.<\/li>\n
  • Garraf.<\/li>\n
  • Alt Pened\u00e8s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Regions in PHASE 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Alt Pirineu i Aran.<\/li>\n
    • Camp de Tarragona.<\/li>\n

      What can be done in phase 1 and what can be done in phase 2?<\/h3>\n

      ACTIVITIES ALLOWED IN PHASE 1:<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • The time slots for walks<\/strong> for minors under the age of 14 and for sports<\/strong> for adults remain in place, but communities may delay them or move them forward 2 hours.
        \nMinors under the age of 14 may go out accompanied by all the adults with whom they live, and walks may include groups of up to 10 people.<\/li>\n
      • Gatherings of up to 10 people<\/strong> in private homes or public spaces are allowed, as long as a space of 2 meters is maintained.<\/li>\n
      • Mobility among towns within the same healthcare region is allowed<\/strong>. This means that Barcelona residents may not yet leave the city since it is a single healthcare region.<\/li>\n
      • The terraces of bars<\/strong> may be used at up to 50% capacity as long as distance is kept between tables.<\/li>\n
      • Hotels<\/strong> and tourist accommodations<\/strong> may reopen, although the communal areas must remain closed.<\/li>\n
      • Places of worship<\/strong> may reopen<\/strong> with limited capacity.<\/li>\n
      • Commutes in private vehicles<\/strong> are allowed for everyone who lives together, with a limit of up to 9 passengers.<\/li>\n
      • Sports<\/strong> facilities may reopen.<\/li>\n
      • Burials<\/strong> are allowed in public or private spaces with a maximum of 15 people outdoors and 10 indoors. Cemeteries may also reopen.<\/li>\n
      • Shops may hold sales<\/strong> as long as they respect the safety and hygiene measures and prevent crowding.<\/li>\n
      • Car dealerships<\/strong>, vehicle inspection stations<\/strong>, garden centers<\/strong> and nurseries may reopen to the public by appointment only.<\/li>\n
      • Construction<\/strong> and renovation<\/strong> of existing buildings, including homes<\/strong> or commercial spaces,<\/strong> is allowed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        ACTIVITIES ALLOWED IN PHASE 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Mobility<\/strong> must remain within the same province or healthcare region.<\/li>\n
        • Time slots for walks and sports are eliminated<\/strong>, except for vulnerable persons.<\/li>\n
        • Gatherings<\/strong> in public spaces and homes may include up to 15 people<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        • Malls may reopen<\/strong> at up to 30% capacity in communal areas and 40% in shops.<\/li>\n
        • Hotels<\/strong> may reopen their communal areas<\/strong> at 40% capacity.<\/li>\n
        • Bars<\/strong> and restaurants<\/strong> may open up to 40% of their indoor tables.<\/li>\n
        • Cultural facilities<\/strong> may reopen with a capacity of 30% of the public.\n
            \n
          • Indoor<\/strong> venues: shows may be held for fewer than 50 people.<\/li>\n
          • Outdoor<\/strong> venues: with a maximum of 400 people in assigned seating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
          • The capacity of places of worship<\/strong> is increased to 50%, and burials<\/strong> may be held with 25 people outdoors and 15 indoors.<\/li>\n
          • Weddings<\/strong> are allowed with a maximum of 100 guests and the venue at no more than 50% of capacity.<\/li>\n
          • Swimming at beaches<\/strong> and pools<\/strong> is allowed at 30% capacity with extra disinfection measures.<\/li>\n
          • Clubs<\/strong> and nightspots<\/strong> remain closed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            After the progress in recent weeks, the government is planning to end the state of alarm early in some provinces<\/strong>, while reviewing the minimum 14-day period to move from one phase to the next in the de-escalation.<\/p>\n

            We are on our way to \u201cthe new normal\u201d, which should come in late June<\/strong>, as long as there are no new coronavirus hotspots which would force some phases to be adapted or expanded.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
