Barcelona enters phase 2 today"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Barcelona, June 8 2020.- Today, Barcelona and its metropolitan area, Lleida, Madrid and much of Castilla y Le\u00f3n are entering <strong>phase 2 in the de-escalation towards the new normal<\/strong>. Likewise, more than half of Spain (all the provinces in phase 2 since May 25) are moving to phase 3, known as the advanced phase.<\/p>\n<h3>Which regions in Catalonia are in phase 2 and which are moving to phase 3?<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Regions in PHASE 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Barcelona and its metropolitan areas<\/li>\n<li>Lleida<\/li>\n<li>Girona<\/li>\n<li>Central Catalonia<\/li>\n<li>Alt Pened\u00e8s<\/li>\n<li>Garraf<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Regions in PHASE 3:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Alt Pirineu i Aran<\/li>\n<li>Camp de Tarragona<\/li>\n<li>Terres de l\u2019Ebre<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What activities are allowed in phase 2? What activities are allowed in phase 3?<\/h3>\n<p><strong>ACTIVITIES ALLOWED IN PHASE 2:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mobility<\/strong> must remain within the same province or healthcare region.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gatherings<\/strong> in public spaces and homes may include up to <strong>15 people<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Malls<\/strong> may reopen at up to 30% capacity in communal areas and 40% in shops.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hotels<\/strong> may reopen their communal areas at 40% capacity.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bars<\/strong> and <strong>restaurants<\/strong> may open up to 40% of their indoor tables.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cultural facilities<\/strong> may reopen with a capacity of 30% of the public.\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Indoor venues<\/strong>: shows may be held for fewer than 50 people.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Outdoor venues<\/strong>: with a maximum of 400 people in assigned seating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>The capacity of <strong>places of worship<\/strong> is increased to 50%, and burials may be held with 25 people outdoors and 15 indoors.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Weddings<\/strong> are allowed with a maximum of 100 guests with the venue at no more than 50% of capacity.<\/li>\n<li>Swimming at <strong>beaches<\/strong> and <strong>pools<\/strong> is allowed at 30% capacity with extra disinfection measures.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Clubs<\/strong> and <strong>nightspots<\/strong> remain closed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ACTIVITIES ALLOWED IN PHASE 3:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Time slots<\/strong> for walks and sports are eliminated, except for vulnerable persons.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mobility<\/strong> must remain within the same province or healthcare region.<\/li>\n<li>Communal areas of <strong>malls<\/strong> may reopen, and <strong>hotels<\/strong> and <strong>tourist accommodations<\/strong> may reopen at 50% capacity.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tourist activities<\/strong> are allowed with groups of up to 30 people.<\/li>\n<li>The limitations on <strong>bars<\/strong> and <strong>restaurants<\/strong> are relaxed, but \u201cstrict conditions\u201d of separation among people must remain in place:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Outdoor terraces<\/strong> at 75% capacity.<\/li>\n<li>Consumption at the <strong>bar<\/strong> only if the safety distance is guaranteed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cinemas, theaters<\/strong> and <strong>auditoriums<\/strong> may now reach 50% capacity.<\/li>\n<li>Concert <strong>halls, clubs<\/strong> and <strong>nightspots<\/strong> may open at 33% capacity.<\/li>\n<li>All urban and interurban <strong>public transport<\/strong> services may operate at 100%.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Social contact<\/strong> is allowed for persons who are not vulnerable and have no previous pathologies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>During these weeks of de-escalation, the healthcare resources are in place to deal with possible new outbreaks, and primary care has been reinforced to detect new cases and check them with testing.
