The Architecture and Design division of the Alting Real Estate Group has delivered the new hotel located at Calabria 90-92 to AXEL Hotels in just 11 months, ahead of the 14 months scheduled.

The building features a lofty, unique, eco-friendly façade of balconies, a true feat of engineering that will invite the hotel’s guests to discover the real Barcelona.

Rooms with up to 7 different types of flooring, pushing the limits of interior design, with significant technical effort to make the different materials and thicknesses fit together seamlessly.

Intimate spaces without barriers, thanks to a healthy dose of creativity and knowledge of trends and materials, ALTING has made possible Axel Hotels’ vision of creating rooms with visually open spaces that are full of mystery.

The new building developed and owned by the Alting Real Estate Group, is located at 90-92 Calabria Street in the city of Barcelona. This strategic location and the project focusing on the concept of an “urban hotel” were the reasons the Axel Hotels chain chose it as the site of their second hotel in the Catalan capital.

The Architecture and Design division of the Alting Real Estate Group designed a 4-star hotel with a total floor space of 4,786 m2 on 6 floors and 3 basements. The project was created to fit 87 rooms and 29 parking spots in this space. The work has been completed in just 11 months, ahead of the 14 months scheduled, so that Axel Hotels can take advantage of the summer season.
